14 Year old Oakville Ontario Entrepreneur “Jack” raises a quarter of a million dollars to help SickKids Hospital in Toronto

Five years ago, 9 year old Oakville Resident Jack began selling lemonade on his driveway to raise money for the hospital for sick children in Toronto. Jack, a former patient himself underwent a number of brain procedures to correct his epileptic seizers and wanted to help others now that he is better.

What began as a small event on his driveway has now become an annual fundraising event with live music, activities, game stations and even a petting zoo attracting thousands of area people.

To date, Jack’s Lemonade had raised a quarter of a million dollars.

Last weekend Jack was presented, The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for his charity work.

An inspirational story that has had a huge impact on the local community and across the country.

Congratulation’s again to Jack, his family and all the organizers for all their hard work!
